Consequences
Overall we think that the Russian Revolution was successful. Although there were both negative and positive affects we believe that the positives overrule the negatives. Also we believe that it was successful because life after the revolution was much better while the Union of Soviet Socialist was in power. During the revolution there was a change in government, as they went from Russian Empire to the Union of Soviet Socialists. If the Russian revolution never happened, Russia wouldn't have been taken out of world war when they did, there wouldn't have been a change in government and also they wouldn't be the first communist state. during the revolution the goal was to take power out of the hands of the Russian empire and that is exactly what they did. After Russia became a communist state it seems that other countries followed them and became communist states soon after. What we think was the main negative was that the leader of Russia was not the best man for the job. Joseph Stalin expelled Leon Trotsky from Russia so he could take over the position of power in Russia. Although he seemed a decent leader at the time, he ended up being a power-hungry man.
