Timeline
March 8, 1917 (Triggering Event) - Riots broke out in the Russian city of Petrograd, and the riots started small, as a small group of women were shouting and chanting for more bread. The riot eventually got so big that soldiers in the military joined the protest. We see this as the triggering event, as these woman raised awareness of the people, as not all people realised that there was something that could be done about the food supply crisis. Soon after this point in time, people started to progress towards steps in improving the country of Russia.
March 12, 1917 - The Tsar stepped down, as the citizens were uneasy and restless under his rule. A temporary government was set up to make decisions.
Throughout 1917 - Riots continue to break out in Petrograd and throughout Russia, while the people gain more awareness to the problems going on. The provisional government has not overcome the food shortage that the Russian citizens were experiencing at the time. It was time for Vladimir Lenin to take control.
September 17 - A debate between the Bolsheviks and the rivalling parties takes place. The people who are allowed to firmly point towards a Bolshevik majority government. Leon Trotsky becomes chairman of the governing body. He was intelligent and strong in his point of views and was the right choice for leader of the Bolsheviks
November 6 - Trotsky carried out the plan designed by Vladimir Lenin. He put military worker committees all over Petrograd. Finally, they stormed major government buildings. This was the beginning of the Russian communist government.
